Orthodontist

Dr. Ahmed grew up in Cleveland, Ohio (but don’t hold that against her!). She attended dental school at Case Western Reserve University. During that time, she fell in love with orthodontics and decided to specialize in Orthodontics at the University of Michigan.

During her residency, she also fell in love with the city of Ann Arbor and decided to settle here with her husband. Dr. Ahmed now lives in Ann Arbor with her three young children-two daughters and a son, as well as her cat, Puma.

Since graduating from residency, Dr. Ahmed has been actively involved in the orthodontic profession-she teaches at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, and has served as the President of the Michigan Academy of Orthodontics since 2018.

Dr. Ahmed enjoys reading (she has a stack of books on her nightstand that she fully intends on reading if her 3 kids give her a minute!). She also enjoys going to the movies, cooking, and exploring the beautiful state of Michigan.
