Dentist

Dr. Rosalee Justema grew up in Jackson, MI. She was one of eight students to enter the six year Accelerated Dental Program at the University of Detroit Mercy, which enabled her to attain both her Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Dental Surgery in six years.

After attending college and dental school in Detroit, Dr. Justema returned to her hometown to work in private practice for five years. As she worked with children in private practice, she realized how much she enjoyed pediatric dentistry and decided to further her education at the University of Michigan Pediatric Dentistry Residency.

Dr. Justema is committed to giving back to her community. She volunteered at the dental clinic at Bay Cliff Health Camp in Big Bay, MI where she provided dental care for young campers with physical and mental disabilities. Dr. Justema also served in the Dental Mission Trip to Honduras and traveled to a rainforest reservation with the University of Detroit Mercy’s Christian Dental Association to provide dental services to those less fortunate. Other community service activities that she has participated in include Give Kids a Smile, Michigan Day of Oral Health Outreach, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Coalition of Temporary Shelter (COTS), and Special Olympics Special Smiles.

Dr. Justema is also active in the dental community as a member of the Michigan Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Michigan Dental Association, and American Dental Association.

Dr. Justema is excited to work in the Ann Arbor community and strives to provide exceptional care to her patients. Dr. Justema enjoys spending time with her family. She met her husband while in dental school and they have a son.
